the batteries are all ready dying. They love their glowies. My twins were given gloworms this Christmas. It's kind of a pain to dig the battery compartment out of the body. The face is soft, the body is huggable, it's easy for their little hands to hold and love. The only complaint I have is that after just a few weeks use- we brought the glowies up to bed after the new year (we'd forgotten them at Grandma's). As for the volume level, if you still feel it's to loud even on the lesser setting, try taping a piece of cloth over the speaker. Lots of kids toys are ridiculously loud, putting tape over the speaker has helped in our house.
Both my girls love it. Taught both girls cause and effect, push the tummy and it lights up & plays music. 6 month old & 2 year old. when my 2 year old was one she was upstairs in her crib in her room by herself and i recall nights where she would wake up and put her self to sleep by pushing the baby's tummy to have it light / music and comfort her.
This is so cute. I bought for my new great neice. It's face lights up and it plays music.the music isn't so soft it can't be heard and it isn't to loud either. I think this is the perfect toy for the baby.
This toy is a hit with every newborn I give it to. It's so simple but they love it. They get the most out of it at 4 months and older.
As an 80's baby, I loved my glow worm and wanted my kids to have one two. My one year old got it for Christmas and she loved it.
